Fide Fashion Week 2012

What better way to conclude the month than with a dazzling French Couture show, presented by FIDE Fashion Weeks and hosted at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore? As promised, November has ended with a bang, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Merci Beaucoup (Thank you so much) to everyone who made this month truly unforgettable. From delightful dinners and celebrations to luxurious gifts and invitations to exquisite events, November was packed with meaningful experiences. Whether it was bidding farewells or welcoming new opportunities, transitioning from laid-back moments to glamorous evenings, every bit of it was worthwhile because I got to share it with the people I love.

This month allowed me to meet and mingle with some incredible and respected figures in the fashion industry. It was an honor to connect with individuals like Suzy Menkes, the esteemed British journalist and head fashion critic for the International Herald Tribune, and Uttsada Panichkul, the charismatic Thai-American actor, host, and model.

Special thanks to Dr. Frank Cintamani, Chairman of Men’s and Women’s Haute Couture Fashion Week, and publisher of Designare and Homme magazine. I was also fortunate to meet iconic designers such as Yumi Katsura, Christophe Josse, Atelier Gustavolins, Alexis Mabille, Julien Fournie, Maurizio Galante, and the legendary Kenzo Takada. Shaking hands and exchanging words with them reminded me that success is never out of reach, no matter how small you start. The key is to take that first step, and the journey unfolds from there.

I’m incredibly thankful for everything I’ve achieved in these 21 years of life. None of it would have been possible without the unwavering support of those around me. No matter how big or small your contribution, your presence has been deeply appreciated, and I hope you'll continue to walk this path with me as I move forward.

As someone once told me, “Amin, stop with the humble brags.” But perhaps it’s those humble brags that have brought me this far.

So, as I wrap up this extraordinary evening, a special thank you goes out to Z and everyone who played a role in making November so special. Here’s to December, and to ending the year on another high note.
