EID MUBARAK 2017
Salam and Eid Mubarak to all my Muslim friends and followers from around the world!
Alhamdulillah, all praises to Allah for granting us the strength and guidance to complete another blessed month of Ramadan. Fasting is more than just abstaining from food—it’s about controlling our desires, emotions, and ego, and strengthening our taqwa towards Allah SWT.
A Moment for Reflection
As we celebrate this joyous occasion, I want to take this opportunity to seek forgiveness from anyone I may have hurt, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Life is unpredictable, and we never know when our last day will be. It’s important to me to maintain kindness and positive relationships with everyone I know.
Changing Traditions
Eid posts on my blog have always been short, and this one will be no different. However, as we grow older, Eid celebrations themselves are starting to change. Coordinating schedules as working adults to visit family and friends is becoming more challenging. Despite these obstacles, we made the effort to come together this year, and for that, I’m truly grateful.
I know it might get even tougher in the future, but with Allah’s guidance, we will always find a way to make it work—InsyaAllah.
Closing Thoughts
That’s it for this year’s Eid celebration, folks. The next festivity is just around the corner, and I hope your Eid was filled with blessings, love, and joy. Until next time, take care, and I’ll see you soon!
Ciao.
