Adventure Time – Journey Back Home

Adventure Time: Journey Back Home

It has been a while since I took the time to walk aimlessly, but recently I had the opportunity to do just that with my sister. Interestingly, we often embark on such adventures during Ramadan when our energy levels are usually at their lowest. Despite that, we pushed through and made the most of our day.

From Sengkang to Punggol

Our journey began in Sengkang with a simple task: to collect something my sister had purchased online. However, as we were planning, we got a wild idea to take the bus to Punggol and check out the waterfront. This was my first trip there, so I had no idea what to expect!

Upon reaching Punggol, we were greeted by the scorching sun, making my dri-fit t-shirt feel like it had just come out of an iron. We headed towards the “thatch” area, a popular spot for hipster Instagrammers to capture stunning photos. This location is right beside the lesser-known Lorong Halus Bridge. It was only then that I realized Lorong Halus is quite close to Tampines, prompting us to rethink our route back to Punggol. Instead of retracing our steps, we decided to venture forward, unsure of where we would end up.

The Journey Back Home

We decided to capture some moments along the way, and while we recorded our adventures, we hope you enjoy our goofiness as much as we did!

Eventually, we made it home, albeit extremely thirsty and exhausted from our adventure.

Ciao!
