Lee Kuan Yew – In Loving Memory
On 23rd March 2015, Singapore lost one of its greatest founding fathers, Lee Kuan Yew. A leader who gave the nation strength and guided it through tough times for more than fifty years. He equipped Singapore with the essentials to be independent—both as individuals and as citizens. His legacy will forever live on in every Singaporean who witnessed his transformative leadership as Prime Minister.
As the private wake and mourning continues for seven days, citizens can pay their respects by penning tributes at the Parliament House or online at the Remembering Lee Kuan Yew official website. It’s a moment of deep sorrow, but also one of gratitude for the man who ensured that our small, once-humble fishing village became a powerful and prosperous city-state.
Thank you, Sir, for all you’ve done for Singapore and its future generations. Your contributions will never be forgotten.
May you Rest in Peace,
1923-2015
