ALLURE BY QUDYN – QUDYN AZIZ BRIDAL COLLECTION 17/18 – KUALA LUMPUR
It’s been a while since I’ve taken the time to sit down and write, but that’s because I’ve been everywhere—seeking new inspirations to share with you and, in the process, discovering more about myself. Sounds deep, right? But it’s the truth. Recently, I embarked on a short but impactful solo trip. It was spontaneous, exhilarating, and something I’d absolutely do again.
Of course, every impulsive trip needs a reason, and mine was to support a dear friend—Qudyn Aziz, one of Kuala Lumpur’s leading fashion designers. This time, it was for his bridal collection showcase as part of The Wedding KL, a prestigious event celebrating the best in bridal fashion. I might not know when I’ll have a reason to shop for bridal attire myself, but hey, why not start exploring now?
The Event
Held at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, the event spanned three days and featured collections from numerous celebrated designers. As expected, it was the event of the season, with celebrities—both married and single—making their appearances.
While I didn’t stay at the Mandarin Oriental (it would’ve been a dream for my feet after all the walking), I opted for my usual accommodations where everything else—besides attending the event—was more convenient.
A big shoutout to Qudyn’s organizing team, especially Faridz Ridzuan and Yusfariq Iqmal, for moving me to the front row! It was such an honor to sit among the who's who of the fashion world, though I must admit, I was a little nervous being in the spotlight.

These days, I prefer soaking in the experience and snapping only my favorites—plus, of course, the grand finale look.
